Christmas Tree And Electronics Recycling Day

Saturday January 5, 10am–4pm
Clark Park, 43rd Street & Chester Avenue

Turn your Christmas tree into wood chips instead of landfill. Bring it to Clark Park to have your tree chipped and turned into mulch which will be used in neighborhood parks and gardens. The suggested donation is $10 per tree, which will support UC Green’s efforts to improve our neighborhood through greening. For more information, contact Sue MacQueen at 215 573-4684 or [email protected].

Did you get a new flat screen television for the holidays? Drop off your old one for recycling, along with any other obsolete household electronics, including computers (or anything with a plug!), and be confident that any potentially harmful materials will be disposed of properly. For more information contact Seth Budick at 215-243-0555 or [email protected].

Sponsored by University City District and eForce Compliance, Philadelphia’s first R2 certified e-waste recycler.
