(West Chester, PA)- Restaurateur, Author, and Motivational Speaker Dave Magrogan is proud to announce the signing of a lease with the University of Pennsylvania to open a Doc Magrogan's Oyster House at 3420 Sansom Street in University City.

"I am really excited about bringing Doc's to Penn's campus," stated Dave Magrogan. "We choose all of our locations very carefully and believe that this concept is unique to the area and something that the surrounding neighborhoods, students, professionals and visitors will all enjoy."

Doc's will feature the freshest available seafood from around the country, a raw bar with an array of east and west coast oysters, a superb wine selection and fine handcrafted beers. Executive Chef Steve Calise, brings years of experience to the brand and formerly worked for Legal Seafood and McCormick & Schmick's. Some of his specialties include The Doc's Salmon Served over Sweet Potato & Crab Meat Hash with BBQ Beurre Blanc and Thai Chili Glazed Tuna. A "Fresh Catch" section is always on the menu and can be prepared a variety of ways, earning the eatery awards such as "Best Seafood Restaurant" and "Best Crab Cake" by Delaware News Journal.

"Doc's will provide another enticing food venue for Sansom Row and the community. Doc Magrogan Oyster House is different from the current offerings and provides a great compliment to nearby restaurants," remarked Ed Datz, Executive Director of Real Estate in Penn Facilities and Real Estate Services. "The design and atmosphere of Doc's in downtown West Chester, PA showcased how this concept would translate well to our campus and bring new energy to this historic city block."

This 4th Doc's location is anticipated to open this Spring, and the restaurant will serve lunch and dinner. Indoor and outdoor seating as well as private dining will be available.

A classic 1900s Oyster House, Doc's aims to transform guests back to a simpler time of tradition, festive food, and merriment. For more information on the menu, events, and other locations, visit http://www.docmagrogans.com.
