Foobooz: Food Truck Update for August

Monday, August 4, 2014

We’ve got a number of food truck updates that we’re packing into this one post.

Food Junkets has the details on Casa Brazil, a new Brazilian barbecue truck that should be hitting the streets this week. Owner Ricardo Berbosa has worked at Fogo de Chao in Baltimore as well as Chima in Philadelphia and Na’Brasa Brazilian Steakhouse in Horsham. The Brazilian native plans on making showing up at 33rd and Arch and other spots around West Philadelphia. Stay tuned for his first day out.

The Flying Deutschman has been around awhile now and has amped up its appearances around town. Jamie from Midtown Lunch caught up to the German food truck inside City Hall's courtyard last week and enjoyed her jaeger schnitzel.

Speaking of the food trucks and City Hall, here's the complete Love Park and City Hall food truck schedules for August (PDF).

The Porch at 30th Street Station has set its schedule for August. The Porch has food trucks from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and breakfast/lunch service on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
