A Black Excellence Film Series: “Get Out” (2017)

February 18 @ 4:30 pm 5:30 pm

A movie poster for Get Out features shattered glass-like effects revealing eerie scenes from the film. The images include a close-up of Chris, a Black man, with wide, terrified eyes; Chris smiling with his white girlfriend and her father; and Chris standing alone outside. The title Get Out appears in bold white letters at the bottom. The overall tone is tense and unsettling.
